Took a better look and I believe you're correct jbuck; looks more like a red squirrel (that's what I get for being in a hurry....)

The colors I see on the Schwinn bike sign are red, white, blue and either yellow or gold.

Squirrels have been rare around our property the last several years. Wish I could say the same about chipmunks!:( They are destructive little critters!

I agree with you, Thumbgardener, I also see a gold or yellow color there too. I believe there's a gold 'star' in the middle of the Schwinn insignia, if memory serves me correctly. I never owned a Schwinn, much too expensive...my bike was a Western Auto's "Western Flyer".:)

My old bike was donated by my Aunt "Dot". Big heavy thing with big ugly tires. She had spray painted it "Pelican Pink". I was so embarassed to ride it. Back then it was like driving a family sedan versus a "cool" car.
Yep, good eye JH (Thumbgardener), I see gold too. Hope I get to see it at sunset time. :)
Still can't get over the Green Bay game. Come on, NFL, give those experienced refs a raise....please.
