Today's subjects, sure seem to be floating into fall just fine. I'm not sure if Aladino Mandoli took these photos to capture the colors reflecting in the water and the ducks were a plus or if he was snapping shots of the ducks in such a serene setting and the reflection of the colors was the bonus, but either way, we get to enjoy the fall beauty he's captured here UP North.

I especially like Dino's last photo, as it tells the story of the fall colors here in the North Country quite well. There's color here and there, with bursts in some places, but by no means peak color season yet in the Keweenaw.

Love these pictures, but I love all of Dino's pictures!! Love the last one! Thanks for sharing!

Aww, I love ducks! There are usually mallards and woodducks on our pond during the summer.
The leaves on one of our many maples are turning a beautiful deep red. That tree is next to the house, not sure of the others that are farther away.

The ducks look so peaceful. Great pictures!

Great Pics! I love to feed the ducks from our boat. I give them all Vicki's potato chips, boy she gets mad at me! Hey, the ducks have to eat too, I tell her. LOL

The last picture looks like a painting!

U.C., I enjoy feeding the ducks, too. Just the other day I was at the park and fed a couple to a stray cat.
