Tuesday-What'sUP September 4 - 07:26 pm

There was quite a crowd on the beach at Eagle River Saturday as Josh and Kelly Treganowan set sail on the sea of matrimony. In the top photo above Josh awaits his brides arrival, standing with the man who officiated the ceremony, Brad Parker, who also happens to be the postman for most people out here on the Peninsula. It was a perfect Keweenaw day with sunshine and a gentle breeze. After the gathering on the beach, the newlyweds had some photos of the wedding party over by the Courthouse, and then we were all off to Calumet for a shindig at the old Armory (known these days as the Coliseum). I'll put a few more photos here, with some of the fun we all had at the banquet.

Also later we'll be adding some photos of another wedding - held in Texas over the weekend - which included a few folks who have appeared here on the Pasty Cam in years past. What a weekend to remember :o)

Was thinking this was the perfect compromise on the wedding attire. The ladies dressed up the way they wanted, but the guys were cool and comfortable. Everyone's happy! Perfect ~
