Mike Schneider has done it again. In his first scene, taken near Wetmore, he's captured the feel of being on the water in a kayak or maybe even swimming, with a beautiful border of fluffy clouds and the rising moon over Lake Superior. Stunning...
Mike even managed to find some waves weaving through the clouds up above, too. From the looks of those clouds I bet there was a storm not too long after he snapped the photo.
Nature sure knows how to paint a beautiful scene with the majesty of the Big Lake and the splendor of the clouds. Thanks for capturing it all for us, Mike!

I guess he didn't drop his camera into the water in the first shot..... ;-) Excellent work once again, Mike!!

You hit the nail on the head, Mary! I felt like I was treading water and looking out in the first pic. Nice photos!

The first shot reminds me of the phrase "rolling in the deep". I enjoy floating out in Lake Huron being rocked by the waves. The water's been more consistenly warm this summer (note: many people would consider my "warm" [70F] to be their "chilly").
