Good evening from Oslo, Norway!!! We got in with no issues, other that it's a looooooong flight across the Atlantic. Fortunately, we got to see Greenland with its many glaciers and fjords; quite a sight and even managed to snap a few pics.
We flew into Stockholm, Sweden, rented the car and drove the 330 miles to Oslo earlier today. One thing that we kept saying over and over again was how creepy/eerie similar it was to the UP. We kept saying things like "we're near Champion/Republic now", or "we're near Ironwood" or "this looks just like around Newberry". Granted, tomorrow will be a different story as we'll be in and around the mountains, but today reminded us just how special a place the UP is!!
More updates to come.... J

Thank you, Capt. Paul and Dr. Nat, we're seeing it through your eyes and it sounds beautiful.:)

Way to go, Capt. & Dr. Nat...I took a little tour of Norway the other day using Google Street-View and I was amazed at how much it looked like the UP and Scotland. No wonder we love it UP there.
Enjoy and be safe!
