2006 I used to dread that stretch when I was driving at night because it made me so tired.

I probably shouldn't admit this, but I once made it across the Stretch in less than 15 minutes in one of my classics when there was barely any other cars on the road. Nothing like the sound of an American big-block V8 when it's happy.... ;-)

I also remember it taking over 2 hours to cross the Stretch because of blinding lake effect snow. Another time I crossed in February the Northern Lights were out so bright we almost didn't need our headlights. Ahh, the many moods of UP weather......

The Stretch in 15? I got ya’ll beat. I did it in 10, but my pants ripped.
