Pam Heide's comment that accompanied today's photo was: "This is why I don't feed the birds." I guess her kitty decided since the feeder isn't being used for bird seed, that it might as well make good use of it for taking a snooze outside and not worrying too much about the sun, since there's a roof over its head, too. Finding shade with the temps in the 80's???? That poor cat would melt with our temps/humidity!! The Dr. and I are counting down the days now; only 10 more until our trip to cooler temps.....

Speaking of cute pets, Hollidays, I sure hope Yooper Joe is staying cool UP there. Temp on my back porch thermometer has reached 100 for the first time for as far back as I can remember!

Now that picture is absolutely adorable. I can't tell you how many times I could have sworn that there are kitties out there somewhere in need of help from hearing these catbirds calling. They definitely have the right name.
