Thanks for the thoughts, Alex. It’s been touch and go for the past couple of weeks, but it looks like they got a handle on the High Park Fire near Ft. Collins where I live. While this beast is winding down, other large fires are growing near Boulder and Colorado Springs. This is going to be one wild and crazy Summer!!!

Praying for the folks and animals to be safe with the horrible fires in Colorado. Been seeing pictures where horse owners are just opening gates and letting horses run free down highways for their own safety. Something I pray I never have to contend with.

Yes, Janie, that would be a terrible decision to be forced to make, but if it means saving the lives of their horses I guess they have no other choice. So sad!
Just read where the fires are doubling in size.

Please forgive my 'off-subject' but I'm curious, Thomas, is the doggy pic now on your profile the same tiny puppy previously shown? So cute!

Hope that Gary and Nancyd along with all of the people involved with the Colorado fires stay safe and don't lose their homes. What's really sad is that if their homes are saved, they have no more forest, just black, barren land. :(
