Good morning from southern Ohio. Had drenching rains all day yesterday, cloudy this morning but with a promise of clearer skies! No danger of wildfires in the Ohio Valley.

Thought I won the Lotto today and this was the first thing in my mind;

can throw one heck of a party!

Didn't win but we're still gonna party. Gonna get the garden ready to plant, gonna light the grill and have New York strip steaks, and gonna live it up with hot fudge sundaes. Oh, and have a few brewskis before dinner.

Yooper Joe is still doing fine but his stamina is going. Won't be long. We have to live from day to day. I will know when it's time by looking in his eyes. :(

It's amazing the conversation one can have with their dog through their loving brown eyes.

Capt. Paul and Dr.Nat a very happy anniversary to you and may
you celebrate many more together!

Hollidays, we last went through this with our 2nd Scottie, Otis. He had a cancerous tumor on his toe. We had the toe and tumor removed, but the cancer still spread. It was referred to as malignant melanoma. Our 1st Scottie, Angus, we never neutered him and he developed scrotum cancer and it spread to his bladder. Both Scotties told us by those loving brown eyes. It is very hard, sad, and the hurt always remains deep down. And they both left us in the month of May, but 3 years in difference.

This should be a no-brainer for you Capt, because I believe number 11 is steel, and nothing says I love you like a pair of steel-toe-shoes. Maybe stick some jewelry in one, just to cover all bases :-)

As I type, Nat is playing Skyrim on XBox and I'm working on some research for an ongoing project. Didn't do anything today; we celebrated over the weekend.
