Good Monday morning from a warm, muggy SE Texas!!

Ok, something is wrong here!! Usually, the place is filled with posts already, but today, silence; what gives???

Good morning from the former fat cat and Mikie. Rain here in in Berkely. Jimmie has been loosing weight. He no longer is the fat white cat. I probably shouled feed him more.

Mikie...have you been hogg'n all the Fiskies Buffet again?

...Friskies, even.

Two thoughts for today:

When life is made easier it is also made more dependent.

If artificial demands are stimulated, resources must be consumed at an ever-increasing pace!

Seems like we could at least slow down a bit in these two endeavors?

Friskies, Jimmie wouldn't even taste Friskies. He is on a canned food diet that cost more then what dinner for Precious and myself cost. Alex, Jimmie is a conesewer, mispelled on purpose, and would never lower himself to eating off the shelf cat food.

We have one of those as well, Mikie. She gets nothing but deli turkey and chicken, tuna, and the occasional catnip. Yes, she is spoiled, but considering the life she had before we got her, she deserves it.....

All of the pictures are very nice today but my favorite is of remembering Dad. Dan looks so peaceful looking at the lake & sunshine. Beautiful picture. Ashley,I know how proud he would be of the sweet. wonderful & mature young lady that you are.I'm sure he's looking over you all of the time.

They are all beautiful, but Ashley's picture of her dad tugs at your heart strings. It's wonderful!!

My cats only get the best also. Canned food for them, along with some occasional catnip and some Pounce treats. Very spoiled!! My one cat came looking for food back in 1997, so scrawny you could only see his ribs and somebody or something managed to get the end of his tail. Therefore, the name, Tippy! I figure he deserves some happiness. He's always been grateful and the nicest pet you could have.
