I was trying for 5 min to get my answer to post, kept telling me I already posted it??

Lightning was passing through the Keweenaw just as the Pasty Cam was being published. There were several power interruptions.

That happens a lot to me too, Steve. And I always have to type my username and password in. I didn't used to have to do that...it automatically came up. Don't know why it doesn't now. And I don't know why we get the notice that it already posted either. Strange!!

Great slideshow, though. Always worth the wait!

That happened to me just now. My first try for the bird. Geesh!

35 degrees down here this morning. This is SPRING?

Good Morning. It was 26 here this morning. I am afraid we can say goodbye to our tulips and tree blossoms. I don't know what it will do to our roses, that are up by the house. I hope they are ok. :-) Now, I really hope we don't get a scorcher of a summer here!

Charlie, are the Pasty servers in Eagle River, Calumet, or elsewhere? I'm curious. I know, curiosity killed the cat, so my Mom used to tell me, when I was little. I always had too many questions when I was young, but then I still do, sorry.

Ole Tom & Lena lived by lake in Nordern Minnesota . It vas early vinter
and da lake had froze over.

Ole Tom asked Lena if she vould valk across da frozen lake to da yeneral
store to get him some smokes. She asked him for some money, but he
told her, Nah, yust put it on our tab.

So Lena valked across, got the smokes at da yeneral store, den walked
back home across the lake. Ven she got home and gave Ole Tom his smokes,
she asked him, Ole, you alvays tell me not to run up da tab at da
store. Why didn't you yust give me some money?

Ole Tom replied, Vell, I didn't vant to send you out dere vit some money
ven I vasn't sure how tick the ice vas yet.
