Good Morning. Happy Birthday, Charlie. Janie, how is Brimley doing?

You know, with the high temperatures around here predicted to be in the low 80's, I am starting to wonder if my oldest son has his eye on taking our little boat out on the lake (inland) when he's up here this weekend, just to say he's had the boat out in March. (Yes, we're supposed to set a new high temperature record today here in mid-Michigan, at 81.) I like the nice summer temperatures now, as long as it doesn't get too hot this summer, and as long as we don't get a killing frost to kill off the crops. I would not put it past him, these 20-somethings, to take it out this weekend! One year, he and my husband had it out on Thanksgiving Day, to run the gas out of the motor for the winter. I think before this, late April is probably the earliest it has been out before now.

FJL, I was going by Mary's write up about the picture on the 2009 Pasty Cam she referred to it as a cow also. So I guess that means Mary & I are both wrong.......and once again you are right and we have been corrected.

Marianne, Brimley is doing great! Dr. said within 2 weeks his vision should be back to normal.

Speaking of weather.;) It's in the low 80s down here today....my 'yardman' cut my grass yesterday already, and lots of stuff in full bloom. Looked at last year's calendar and this time last year, we had snow!! Go figure!

Walked the beach with Yooper Joe today, he had a good day but, he was a bit tired. We both went into the water, it wasn't that cold. I sure hope we don't have a hot summer. Might have to move higher up north. :)
