We have a Winter Storm Watch for possibly over 6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow, here in mid-Michigan.

Marianne, then your snow-loving son must be beside himself with that prediction!;)

Well, I have two "snow-loving sons", one in Houghton, at Michigan Tech, & one in Troy. So, maybe the one in Troy will be happy. I haven't looked at Houghton's forecast yet today. It is true that my middle son, my special needs guy, who lives with us, also loves snow, until it cancels the activities that he wants to go to. He has a Special Olympics basketball game that he's supposed to play in tonight, which could get canceled if it gets icy around here, so he'll be unhappy in that case.

Good morning all. Looks like that trail of snow storm is covering us here in northern Illinois. Almost looking forward to it. Afterall it is winter and we haven't had much snow so far. Those doggone bugs of summer need to be held in a little control. We'll see what comes of the warnings eh?

Kay, I think this snow is fizzling as it moves east. I'm in Linn County Iowa, almost due west of you, we were thought to get 4-5 in. Now the guess is maybe 1 in. and most of that in rain.
