By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Monday, February 13, 2012 - 06:21 am:

Marlin was also a model made by Rambler.

There is a fish called the Sand Bass (for 1999). I believe there is also a Sand Sculpin and just a plain Sandfish out there as well.

Good morning!!

Loved the slide show again this morning. Lots of snow in 2004! And the Great Sand Bay picture was just beautiful!

Have a great day!

Oh my, Janie, you're older than I thought!;-) I'd forgotten all about that car. See, that's the thing about age....you remember, then you forget, then you remember, then......well, you know.
Nice review!

Am going thru my emails that came this past week while on my bus trip to Jacksonville/ Savannah. One was a viedo of the 1947 blizzard in Milwaukee. I was about in 3rd grade and remember it well from a little girls view. There was a snow drift up to the roof of the little front porch! Now this year hardly anything around here. So I really appreciate these photos of the UP snow. Laundry and unpacking day today for me. Expecting small amount of snow here. It was rather cool in Florida environs last week.

Ahhh....Savannah!:)

By kay Moore (Mskatie) on Monday, February 13, 2012 - 12:27 pm:

Shirley...you are familiar with Savannah? Such beautiful buildings and atmospere!!! Best money I spent was the tour with a very knowledge guide. I would have liked to drawn and/or photographed every home and it's stunning details. And the stories of the characters both there and the Jacksonville/St. Augustine!!! I could just imagine the history. It fit the recent movie "In the
Garden of Good and Evil"

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Monday, February 13, 2012 - 05:29 pm:

Yep, Kay, if it exists, I've been there. But seriously, that is one beautiful town, and oh the history. As well as Jacksonville/St.Augustine. Haven't been to either place since the 1960s, so I'm sure they have changed some over the years, but I hope not. Travelling to all the many places is one advantage of having a husband in the construction business.:)

Travelling all over the world is also an advantage to being a geologist; not many places myself or the Dr. haven't been to... J

Yes, I'll bet, Capt. Paul. You and Dr. Nat travelled all over the 'world', we never went out of the U.S. except our trips to Canada. It was a wonderful 37 years!
