Hi. I hope the roads that Janie travels today are better today than I-75 just south of US 10 was on Friday late afternoon. There was ice and blowing snow, resulting in a 65-car pileup. It even included a Midland Public Schools bus and pickup, a Budweiser truck/trailer, and the list goes on. Thank heavens there were no kids on the school bus. The bus was being brought back to Midland after having maintenance in Saginaw. Honestly, I don't remember ever having so many cars piled up this far north. They didn't have enough wreckers to clear off the road, so the State Police just had most of the vehicles towed to the side of the road, so they could reopen the northbound lanes of the highway. As it was, they were shutdown for 3-1/2 hours. In the past, there have been fog problems both in Oakland County and on I-94 and I-96 before, but not any resulting in pileups like that that I can remember up here.
Anyway, safe travels, Janie, and all who travel today!

I wonder if you might have known my late wife who graduated from LL in 1954. Her name was Carolyn Kahler?

I love Dubuque. Used to live there for a few years.
