Groundhog Day will revitalize us. Too much of the year has been spent in the highly manipulative, perversely efficient atmosphere of modern life. Weather the day has a lasting, clear therapeutic value on us after passing remains scientifically uncertain, depends on each individual.
Really nice winter scenes today. This site makes me wish the UP even in the winter, and I've never been a winter lover. Lots of stuff to do there, that's for sure!

Love the Beagle in the snow! Reminds me of my daughter's Dachshund, Oscar Meyer, stuck in the snow. Not long enough legs!

That's funny, Janie. It reminds me of a cat we had years ago, during the night we experienced blizzard conditons which left a deep drift outside our front door, so when the door was opened the next morning, the cat bounded out only to be stopped dead in his tracks. Needless to say he found the footing to turn around and jump back inside.:> Once had a dog who loved snow and would 'plow' through it with her nose. She was a Spitz.

Looks to me like that might be a basset hound Janie, judging by the floppy ears. They are definitely not built for snow!!
