Good Wednesday morning and a Happy Hump Day to everybody!!!

Still dark here. Am anxious for the days to be light when I wake up. But, don't want to wish my life away so I guess we'll deal with this until the time comes.

Hope you all have a great day!

Sorry for a slight delay in this mornings update. It has
been an unusually busy start to the New Year. Today's
photos and slideshow will be along shortly.

Thanks, Charlie!! Hope they're there before I have to go to work:) You're been very busy!!

2000-Presque Isle: Reminds me to take a virtual drive on Google (nice mid-morning break), then back to work.

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 - 11:02 am:

I'm with you, Deb, on wishing for longer daylight....don't like to wake up in darkness, and especially when it's raining, like today. Hope all of you have a good day, wherever you are!
No problem, Charlie, we're just glad you do what you do!:-)

This time of year I go to work in the darkness and get home in the darkness.

Re the weather. Looks like we'll have a warm frost and then a dry rain, then it'll clear up cloudy. ???

By Shirley Waggoner (Shirlohio) on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 - 11:42 am:

Ken, looks like you went to the same school as the one Kay said FJL attended.;) (see What'sUP yesterday)

Hmmm ... I never noticed that "Bog Walk and Nature Trail" at Presque Isle Park in Marquette, although I see it's been there since at least 2000! We usually have a picnic at the tables, and then drive the road around the loop, stopping at Chief Kawbawgam's grave, the coves, and other viewing places. The pictured area looks like it's more over by the pool area ... is there a gift shop or food place near there, too? Or is this someplace else entirely?

It's snowing and not about to stop till Saturday. Getting the snowshoes ready. I can't wait to hear the snowmobilers. Come on UP everyone, Ontonagon needs some business.

Ken and Shirley, that was funny!

By Hollidays (Hollybranches) on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 - 04:39 pm:

Enjoy the snow, hope it's coming your way!
