Happy Easter everyone. Check out the double moon picture on Sharon Smith web cam at 6:17 box 18. Very spooky-almost like a sun dog but definitely the moon.

Hello Yoopers, I am trying to find out about the Keweenaw area, as I recently got accepted into Michigan Tech. I live in Lansing, and although my Step-dad lived up there for years, I just can't keep drilling him for info, and making a ten-hour trip isn't feasible right now. So if you would be so kind as to allow me to tap into another resource, would you recommend some good websites where I can find info, especially photos and maps that show more about the geography of the area, that would be great. Thanks.

Good morning :) It's snowing here in Indiana, on the shores of Lake Michigan :) Not too much...and it definately won't collect on the ground....but all those flakes falling out of the sky, shore do look perty...much better than that drizzly ole rain that has been falling since last night.;)

Caleb,MI Congrats on getting accepted at Mich Tech! You're at the right website for info on your soon to be home ;) Charlie posted an awesome detailed map of Keweenaw just recently on this site...I think it was sometime around March 12th, under Cam Notes. You can check the archives or email Charlie for the link to it...someone on Cam Notes had posted about the map today, as a matter of fact.

Thank you downstate don. We wish you a very Happy Easter also. I hope the Easter Bunny finds you there in Waterford...... Glad to hear the weather is clearing up for you. It's been raining and overcast here for several days. We'll take it though. Happy Easter to all you Pasty Camers. Yooper, I love your cartoons. Keep up the good work.

Was feeling quite depressed by this morning about my possible employment in the U.P., BUT THEN THE PHONE RANG! There is still hope we may be HOME before spring is over. Hopefully just a phone interview & a quick trip to meet the Employer & homeward bound. YaaaHooo! Wishing everyone a HAPPY EASTER!

alostyooper........here's hoping you find your way home soon! All else fails, follow those bread crumbs, (or maybe that's pasty crumbs!) although I have my doubts that anyone would be nuts enough to leave even little crumbs of pasties. Hop along the bunny trail all the way home! "They all lived happily ever after until they died...and then, as luck would have it..."

Alostyooper, Keeping my fingers crossed for you and your family, that you will be home to the UP before the snow melts. ;)
