Good morning from Mishawaka IN. It's 34°. We have no snow for sledding. All the rain washed the snow away. Have a nice day everyone.

So saddened to hear of the passing of Donald Brulla, formerly of Calumet. I'd never met him but know his wife, Linda, who serves me my Diet Cokes at our local McDonald's. Linda and her husband loved the Keweenaw and it was Linda who first introduced me to pastycam a few years back! My prayers are with the family.

Good afternoon from Mishawaka, IN. A gray, damp day. Only snow left in the yard are from the piles made shoveling.

Sharon, Glad you made it home. Poor Buster must really dislike riding in automobiles.

Thanks for the information on the parking lot. I thought it was construction. (sur5er) A couple days ago you mentioned being raised near a State Park in Michigan. Could you tell us what park and what part of Michigan it's in. Thank you....

FJL, I raised my daughter in one of the small beach communities, over by Sterling State Park, in Monroe County Michigan ;)

William Wright Mattingly; You might be looking for
a Butch Moyle. I don't know him but that would be
the pronounciation of his name. Lots of Moyles in
the Copper Country. Maybe someone else may know of
him.

Just checking in and getting caught up on Pasty mail after a couple of days off (in bed with the icks...upper respiratory infection etc...ugh!) and wanted to share a story brought to memory by the "Copper Harbor Stare". When I was young (O, so very long ago!) went for a ride with grandparents down many a back road...finally, grandpa stopped at a lonely cottage with an elderly gentleman on the porch to ask if he could tell us where the road ended up. He politely told us it ended eventually around Newberry, but on the way back to the car was heard by all to utter..."gonna have to move...second *** ****** car that's been by here this month! I admit to certain hermit tendencies, but this may be a bit over the top! Don't know if you could even find such a place in the UP today, but it would be nice to think so.
