Good evening from Toronto. No new snow
since Thursday night. We went an hour north
of here to cut our tree today. Tomorrow we'll
put it up. A big weekend for writing the last of
our Christmas cards, shopping for the baking
we plan to do tomorrow and making plans to
get together with family and friends during the
next two weeks.
I love Christmas and am so glad for the time
to reflect on what really matters: for me, that's
God, family, friends, the work I do and the
places I love. I know that I am fortunate to
have these things. When I am working in our
Out of the Cold program with homeless
people here in Toronto, I am reminded of how
fortunate my life has been so far.
I wish that everyone could have a Merry
Christmas...
