It's snowing like crazy here in Toronto as well. Looks like all of the Great Lakes are busy creating lake effect snow. Makes for a beautiful morning walk.

Good morning from high atop the GM VEC tower in Warren.
I would imagine that most people in Southeast Michigan noticed the start of the annual, "Trimming of the Lights," along the ditches of I75 this morning. Not as many as I thought.....but it was still pretty all the same. Maybe someone else can tell us how well some of the other expressways were trimmed this morning.

Good Morning All. Afternoon, DJ! All is well here in the Sunrise Side. A little dusting but that gets us in the holiday mood right? Everyone have a great Weekend!!

Good morning everyone...and good afternoon, DJ. I'm glad I did all my errands yesterday, before the snow hit...and oh so greatful that my office is down the hallway in my house ;) We have 7 1/2 inches...and 8 inches in some spots, of beautiful snow. Love it :) Chuck, now that is something that I don't miss...the cars in the ditches and the medians, along I-75 and US 23. All those cars in the ditches used to remind me of the scratch and dent sales at Sears :) Waiting to hear from hubby, who is supposed to head home today, from NJ. Afraid he may spend a good portion of the weekend, at the loading dock.

Great one, Yooper. Thank god for the plow guys!

Yooper - Think you could send that guy to my house? I'm tired of panking! ;)

Trigal, The girlie girl way to pank. Step 1: Start up truck. Step 2: Go inside and have a cup of coffee while the truck is warming up. Step 3: Go back out to the truck...and make sure it is toasty warm. Step 4: Pop truck into four wheel drive. Step 5: Drive truck out of the garage...and drive down the length of the driveway. Step 6: Put truck into reverse, and drive back up the driveway. Step 7: Drive truck back down driveway. Repeat until there is a nice two tracker in your driveway. If you are really considerate, you can do step 8: drive truck up and down driveway, to remove that snow hump, so people with cars don't get the underbellies of their cars hung up there.
Girlie girl way to pank the sidewalk. We're girls...we don't pank the sidewalk, cuz the truck won't fit on the sidewalk. Besides, why do you think we panked the driveway. Duh!

Ha ha! That's great, and that's exactly what I did when the plow truck broke. The good thing is, we don't have a sidewalk in the winter. We plow the yard and pull right up to the door.

How does one get in on all the fun Sur5er. I only know how to drive (a) truck backward thru the garage back wall and screech to a holt, which by the way, automatically emptied the construction supplies in the back yard. My gosh, that work crew never had it so good...saved a whole day in labor costs emptying that load. Never mind about the reconstruction...I didn't like that garage anyway. All this on a dare. When they said I couldn't drive it, I figure...if I got it in the back yard...I win. My mistakes are well planned.
