Hello to everyone. I had asked this last week, but I guess not everyone saw the same thing I did, so I am going to ask again because it is driving me absolutely crazy! When you look at Sharon's web cam, in the distance there is a semi-circle area of snow on the side of I am assuming Brockway Mtn. Is that part of the drive or is it something else? Anyone have any ideas?

Shelley, the semi circle is the road that is towards Copper Harbor. If you were to start from the Highway going UP the road makes a real sharp left turn (or half circle) then makes a sharp right after the Scenic turn out of the harbor.

Shelly, I agree with you that the horseshoe must be a clearing coming down the "nose" of Brockway. In the following Topozone quadrangle map, you can see that the road down to the highway does not extend down the east face of the nose beyond the scenic turnout location:
