This is one of the best Blast From The Past pictures. Did the guy shoot the deer or hit him with his bike? Great Picture!

Good Morning All. (Good afternoon, son!)
I am doing something that I said I would never do... Putting up the outside lights!!!! I hate seeing them up so early but the weather is about to change Big Time so I figured now is my chance... They will NOT (I stress NOT) be turned on until Dec. 1st!! Have a Good Week everyone!!

SUNRISE SIDE- We have had our X-mas lights up as
earlier as October in other years to avoid cold fingers. We have a little more to do for this year and I agree with you, they won't go on until Dec 1.

Mornin', between the bike shot and Gmw and her Christmas lights, I think I'm behind on the schedule. Kids at school asked if I ate venison and when deer season was open. Like they'd know if I'd tell them a lie. They haven't been north of Colorado Springs.

Well, I got the lights up and they are as good as it gets, I really get upset when the lights don't work. We have a deer family and last year, the buck quit moving and this year just the bottom half of the fawn lights up. With all the technology you think they could solve this problem. Anyway, sorry to get on the band wagon but at least my fingers didn't get COLD!!! teehee!

Finished our X-mas lights today. I always try the string of lights BEFORE I put them up to make sure they work. I just need to change a few bulbs that are burned out.

Well, we had a wonderful time with Fran. The turkey was unreal. MAN, CAN SHE COOK! Of course the PASTIES we had were awesome, as always. (Thanks, Pasty Central). We talked about the U.P. a lot, and that made it even more enjoyable.
