As youngsters wanting to be more grown up, we've probably all done it... dreamed of the day we'd be able to drive for real. These two Yooper boys are all a-grin for Brita Haapala and her camera, while practicing behind the handlebars of Dad's four wheeler. Nice to see they're including the proper headgear in their aspirations of one day heading down a U.P. backroad for a drive on their own. But it looks like for the time being, they're going to have to take to the trails in just their boyish imaginations!

boy, I wish we had all this stuff when we were kids, we had the little radio flyer...oops, I'm telling my age!!! How about super wheels?

I love to see kids with big smiles like these two fella's. Won't be long and they will be big enough to drive a vehicle just like the one they are sitting on.

It's grey in the Flint area, but nice nonetheless.

Of course those little Yoopers are all grins; the Keweenaw sure beats living in the big cities.

I too like today's picture ... although I'm glad that we haven't had to don the coats and gloves down here quite yet.
