Is it true thats it's a federal law that we can't turn our clocks back until 2:00 am Sunday? I'm not sure and I don't want to be in violation now with all that homeland security stuff in place.

billinois: take a risk, live wild. Turn 'um whenever you want. If the feds get ya, we pasty people will vouch for you.

Billinois, I have always set my clocks ahead or behind an hour, before I go to bed. It's just businesses, police departments, etc. that have to follow the 2am rule.
Anywho, I would just be happy if we didn't have daylight savings time...cuz now that means that the sun will be setting at 3pm in Indiana...and it will be dust/dark, by 4pm. Sigh.

By AJ - WI (Ajinwi) on Saturday, October 29, 2005 - 11:00 am:

Aren't we on daylight savings time now (for the summer months)? We will be going back to standard time tonight. That's when it gets dark an hour earlier in the evening. I love daylight savings time. Wish we would stay on it all year 'round.

Have always lived on the western edge of the time zone so I guess I don't remember it any other way. I was so small when I lived on the east end I don't remember not turning and having the results. I actually will love going to work in the daylight again. When we get snow out here, it is really ugly in the dark.

Afternoon All.

From the looks on Bridge Cam it is a beautiful fall day in the UP. SE MI is clear blue and going to 60 degrees. Going to take a drive and enjoy the colors. Enjoy the day everyone.

Did anyone watch Made in America the other night (Tuesday I think)on the travel channel... they talked about Kromer's and visited the place in Ironwood where they make them. Fun to see the UP on TV.

Changed my clock back an hour at 3:oo this afternoon.

By dlp (Babyseal) on Saturday, October 29, 2005 - 09:48 pm:

Victoria, I saw that episode a bit ago. It was neat. Also watched the Travel Channel one night this week and they featured a lodge on Lake Superior as one of the homes. Can't remember the name of the lodge, something 'loma'. It was beautiful. Sorry I can't remember more details but it was nice to see Lake Superior on national TV in all her glory!
