Margaret in Texas, I paid $2.59 for gas at the BP station in Watersmeet this AM. The closer I got to Houghton, the higher it went: 2.74 seemed to be the norm, although the Superwalmart Sign said 2.72.

Billinois, I've been up since the wee hours of the morning...and although the temps supposedly got down to the low 40's, I think it was a bit warmer on the lake. Temps in my house, didn't even dip below the high 60's.

Billinois, I'll take your word over weather.com...they give us the temp out of Valpo, which is more than 10 miles inland.
