Everything is very quiet today on the Pasty Cam. I guess most of the followers are busy listening to the WJR pep rally for the Michigan VS Michigan State game. GO BLUE.....

Yooper's doin' the yooper thing!!

Good morning everyone ;-) Temps here today are going to be close to 80 degrees...and I have every intention of spending the day reading a book as I float in my pool.

Margaret, I second Sur5er's wishes. I'm so pleased that you are doing so much better. Funny isn't it how one can become attached to people you've never meet. Like the saying that I live by,,,a stranger is just a friend I haven't yet. :) I feel so many fellow pasty cammers are my neighbors. We just live just down the line from each other.

I made Ms Katie's Tomato Casserole recipe for the 3rd time tonight!! It is fantastic. I would suggest it for anyone who loves tomato sandwiches. I made it for a work potluck and it was the first dish emptied! Thanks, Ms Katie!

Warning: Miss Katie's Tomato Casserole is highly addictive. ;) Hubby and I had a picnic in our backyard this evening...and of course the Tomato Casserole was served :-)

With the tomato harvest, I am taking advantage of using the fresh tomatoes with the recipe...instead of the plum tomatoes. I slice the tomatoes in half...scoop out the seeds...and then place the tomoto halves upside down on paper towels and let them drain for about a half hour.
