Just for the record, the so-called "foliagenetwork.com" is VERY inaccurate. I traveled across the northern U.P. this past week, and the areas they show as "Little/No Change" were the very areas which had the MOST color (for example, between Ishpeming and Van Riper State Park had LOTS of color).

I would submit that it is extremely difficult to report on such a widespread area in any meaningful way. The best source I have found in the past are the comments and eyewitness reports posted by Pasty Cam viewers.

Evening phone conversation with hubby:
Hubby: "Whatcha doing?"
Me: "Eating."
Hubby: "Eating what?"
Me: "Ms. Katie's Tomato Casserole."
Hubby: "You made more?"
Me: "Uh huh."
Hubby: "Save me some...please."
Me: "Hang on a sec, while I get seconds."
Hubby: "You have to save me some...don't eat it all!"
Me: "Why?"
Hubby: "Because I'm your hubby?"
Me: "Hmmmm..."
Hubby: "Well?"
Me: "I'm thinking..."
Hubby: "How about if I drive into Chicago and pick up the check tomorrow...then will you save me some of Ms. Katie's casserole?"
Me: "Hmmm...."
Hubby: "Well?"
Me: "Give me a second here, to think this over..."
Hubby: "You're finishing off the casserole as we speak."
Me: "Am not.."
Hubby: "Are too."
Me: Burp. "Am not.."

Renee, that poor hubby doesn't have a chance. How did you train him? :) Katie's casserole is making the rounds here in California too...I gave out the recipe...hope that was alright.

Hey Sur Ser, want to share that recipe? We have lots of tomatoes to use up. Or maybe Katie will send it to me?
