I'm with you Charlotte - GOOOOOOO IRISH! By the way, I see the bridge is down. Like when its winter. Is someone trying to tell us something? I'm not ready for winter yet. I haven't experienced autumn. Have a good day everyone and by the way - GOOOOOOOOOOOO IRISH! By Liz B (Lizidaho) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 - 12:24 pm:
Fran, By Robert Brown (Cousinbob) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 - 01:46 pm: Notre Dame is the UP. Remember much of the great ND past was dotted with Yoopers. Hartley "Hunk" Anderson of Hancock, All American guard 1918-1921,took over as head coach when Rockne was killed; George Gipp, Laurium, first Notre Dame All American, 1917-1920. Other less well known Yoopers: Dominic Vairo Calumet..played with Packers, Ojay Larson, Percy Wilcox, and Larry Danbom were all good ND players. And there are probably more that I don't know about. Those that I knew about were primarily from the Copper Country. By Liz B (Lizidaho) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 - 02:42 pm:

I just registerd at the site and cant wait to explore it more By Bob Tiura (Bobtiura) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 - 08:36 pm: Sorry all of you ND fans were disappointed. Of course, I'm a Husky fan, so it doesn't matter to me! By jmac (Jillann) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 - 09:01 pm: Sad football weekend for our household- local high school lost last night after 15 wins which included a state championship last year, ND lost and Illini-- hopefuly next week will be better :( By Ms. Katie (Mskatie) on Saturday, September 17, 2005 - 10:22 pm: Just came in from the front porch, basking in the gorgeous moonlight. The flag is blowing to the tinkling melody of a windchime. A dog somewhere down the road blends his base to the sounds of a train signaling our road crossing. The moon casting tree shadows across the yard reminds us of its gentle influences in our lives.Too bad most of us forget to admire and appreciate our Creators' simple majesty. I wish I could grant the peace of this hour on all the troubled souls in the world. Peace to all my yooper friends.(my I'm lunar tonight!) Good night all. Kosk, By Cindy Lee Maki (Cindylee) on Sunday, September 18, 2005 - 05:22 am: Sunrise side Mi, just read your news that you heard from your son. A mother will never quit worrying, and I can see why you are relieved to have heard from him!!! May God keep him safe over there. You two are on my prayer list... And yes the moon sure did light up the night. I think it woke me up so early this morning,it pulled me out of bed--- By Beverly, San Jose (Beverly) on Sunday, September 18, 2005 - 05:23 am: You are right ser5er. Now that you have shown me how to make and appreciate a really good Strawberry daiquiri, I not only will have them at the finish line, but at the beginning where they really make a difference of winning and losing. After you have one of these at the starting line you make a mad dash to get to the finish line for another. :D :D Kosk won't even see your Pom Poms as they will be just a blur as she passes everyone. Kosk...it is a great thing that you are doing. By Cindy Lee Maki (Cindylee) on Sunday, September 18, 2005 - 07:21 am: By kosk in Toronto (Koskintoronto) on Sunday, September 18, 2005 - 04:35 pm:
