Good Morning

Well, good morning to you all ... I guess it's time for bed pretty soon. Hope you all have a good day ... ours will be sad. My Mother-in law, Bernice Mae Archibald passed away yesterday afternoon ... for those of you who have lived in the UP a while and get to the western end the name may seem familiar, she was/is the widow of DR. Donald H. Archibald who was a local practioner and general surgeon in the Ontonagon and White Pine area for more then 20 years. (I believe for a while he also shared an office with a Dr. in Laurium.) Mom passed away after a short illness, she had fallen and broken her hip just last week. She was born on August 15th, 1910 and had just recently been in the UP attending her granddaughter's wedding and celebrating her 95th birthday! It is an especially sad time because we just lost Ian (my brother-in-law) and their son just 43 days ago ... he was only 54. If you remember the Archibald's (and even if you don't) could you say a little prayer for us ... to help us through this rough time? Thank you.

Good morning, Cindy...you certainly will have the prayers of many...my own included. It's always hard to loose loved ones and you have had more than your share lately. But it sounds like you have lots of happy memories also, with her birthday and the wedding. Hope she had a good time. You were lucky to have had her for so long, but that isn't much comfort right now. Will pray for you and your family....try to have a good day

Cindy - My heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. I lost my mother and my 37 year old son 76 days apart in 2001. My prayers are with you.

cindy. may you find comfort in knowing you have people here at pasty cam that may not know you, but are certainly feeling for you.I hope and pray god gives you the strength you will need in the days and months ahead.

Cindy, I am so sorry to learn of your losses. When I lost my husband it was awful but all of you pasty cammers gave me so much support. I printed them out and I have about an inch thick sheaf of papers. I know you will feel our love as you read these.Bless all of you.My prayers are with you.

The first picture remindsme of my Dad. He chopped a LOT of wood in his long life. He always made such nice neat piles! There is a mushroom like the pictured one in my front yard.
It is pretty.
