If anyone is interested in fostering an animal, that was left homeless during Katrina, I have done some research...and found that an oganization that does wonderful work to save dogs/puppies from puppy mills has stepped in, to assist in providing temporary homes for these animals.

Truck-N-Paws for animal rescue, volunteer transport for rescued animals to/from shelters/foster homes and permanent homes. Bruce from the Ironwood Humane Society and I talked about this on Pasty Cam several months ago.

Bill Peterson- I think the name of the CC Cutter
was Bristol Bay. Could be wrong. It was docked by the bridge.

How is the Quilt raffle going?

Just a thought....why not let the news people take the military rescue with them?...the news media was there the day of the hurricane....the Marine rescue arrived today...one week and a day late???
