Good morning all...and SMF...and Joe ;)
I want to thank everyone for their assistance yesterday, in finding a lake in southwest Michigan to enjoy our jet ski on. Hubby and step son enjoyed the emails and posts from everyone and both are looking forward to once again hitting Michigan waters.

Anyone know where a person can charter a boat for a diving trip in Lake Superior around the first week of July? 906-337-4510

By sur5er on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 10:50 am:

Clf, I know that years ago, if memory serves me right, that there was a company off of Whitefish Point that had chartered scuba diving expeditions in Lake Superior. So try that area.

I meant to say sparring.

The bleeding heart reminds me of all who have lost loved ones, especially in war & I think of Mary watching her son suffer on the cross for us.

By Karen... on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 04:28 pm:

Why is Frank leaving? I noticed several have dropped off due to whatever, etc.

By Clf.Mi on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 10:04 pm:

To all who answered my inquiry about a charter
boat. Thanks Oodles. Clf.

By Ed Kerry former Yooper on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 10:22 pm:

I do not know about others who drop off but for myself, I get
annoyed by so much Christianity being placed here.

How about Buddhists, Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Universalists,
Bahai, Shinto, and all the rest. They don't seem to evangilize as
much as Christians do. Don't do it at all in this forum.

By T.T. on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 10:44 pm:

Ed, why are you offended by Christianity? It is a free country. And it isn't as if talking about faith is a crime or swearing. Why should it not be allowed??? If you feel strong about what you believe in don't you talk about it? Isn't it natural to talk about what you feel right about in your heart? It will be a sad day on earth when Christianity is not allowed to be spoken. Then the devil will have free reign. And God will see that there is no purpose left for this world.

By sur5er on Tuesday, June 21, 2005 - 11:17 pm:

Beverly, :-)

By Kevin K, Lodi, Ca. on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 - 03:59 am:

I don't feel that most people are offended per say by "Christianity." It has it's time and place, and this is not the proper site to be preaching ones believes. People come to this site to enjoy the U.P. Not to have others believes fired at them. It should be saved for the proper site and/or church on Sundays.

By not one on Wednesday, June 22, 2005 - 08:02 am:

I so totally agree with Ed and Kevin. I repect and admire (most) Christians, and although I am not one, I follow the teachings of Jesus. But SO WHAT!? I too am annoyed by all the proselytizing on this site. Sorry, but I feel it comes under the acceptable use policy. A person's religious beliefs are not of interest to everyone. (actually not to ANYONE not in that religion!)

Perhaps there could be a separate page for religious comments as there has been for political ones?

I hope Ed does not leave and lose the rest of the great things on this site.
