Good Morning all, what roads are being worked on in the up any one know. We just returned from alpena and US23 is under repair from brighton to flint and also around the standish oscoda exit. Makes a fun ride missing the barrels

Very overcast, muggy and humid here on Lake Michigan shores in southwest Michigan. I would give you the temperature, but my glasses keep fogging up! Good day to all.

Does anyone know the schedule for this years 4th of July for Mohawk, Ahmeek or Gay? Is it being celebrated on Sunday or Monday? Thanks!

Keweenaw Pennisula Chamber of Commerce (906-482-5240) might have a listing of local parades. You'd have to call Monday.

The Rice Lake Fishing Derby in underway. Still a bit foggy. Hope those boaters can see each other out there.

Joe we just came back from below the bridge and there is a few places with work Cut River Bridge area, Rest Area just west of Seney, 12 miles outside of Harvey, Jumbo Bridge w/light. The MDOT website has list of road construction sites throughout the state. Oh yes the one lane portion of the Mighty Mac!

everyone is entitled to their views. not all of us are religious.

If you have the time and want a scenic route; from Harrison go to Sault St. Marie. Take the Northern circle around Lake Superior. Enter the US at International Falls, go to Duluth, Ashland, Ontanagon and then to Houghton. You will not run into construction and save twenty minutess on the trip.
