He startled me as his size is quite large.

With regard to Mosquitos, the Center for Disease Control has interesting information, maps and links about West Nile Virus, which is, of course, spread by infected mosquitos.

Try to remember to use insect repellent this year. I spoke with an Infectious Diseases M.D. yesterday who said that although there were few cases last year, it's thought the disease could be widely spread throughout the U.S. this year.

Great reminder about mosquitos. Folks please remember your cats and dogs when it comes to mosquitos...with the hours right after sunrise and sunset being the worse time for mosquitos on the ground that come in contact with pets.
