Looking out of the Bridge Cam the Keweenaw is greening up very nicely. Mistys picture could almost be a scene for a movie. As beautiful as it is erie. Enjoy the day!!

Speaking of yellow Lady Slippers, I have a question for Therese(or any one else) just under the bridge: are trillium, laddyslipper, and/or columbine out yet? There's a woodland/park near Mackinaw City that has these, if we're up north on the right weekend.

Kathy from Ann Arbor: The trillium are just coming out now. Say them on my way to Rockland Saturday. With the sunshine we have had since then, I bet they are really blossoming now.

Hi gmw, just want to thank you for wishing my husband happy birthday yesterday. You would be surprized how happy he was. With something so small as that can really make ones day. Just a smile or a hello from someone they don't even know can mean so much. Have a great day. Perfect day to hang laundry outside. I think I'll do the same. Thanks again.

Cindy: you are right. If I need a boost, I just check back in here and can get a smile and pleasant thought in my head. And I can do that even if we're disagreeing on something. I think it's the people. Been kind of a downer lately. Love you all.

Cindy, ditto on that. This is definately the place to get your spirits boosted. Last winter, hubby was amazed at the posts for his safe return during a bad snow storm...and it brought a smile to his face when he safetly returned home to read all the great posts.

GMW: thanks for the beautiful pic of the bridge with the rainbow. I am saving it as my screen saver...as it will definately keep my spirits lifted as I work. I lost count of the times I (intentionally) banged my head on my computer screen these last two weeks.
