The girls look like they're having a cool, but enjoyable time.

In case anyone wants to go for a ride this evening and attend an event of some kind, our church is having a Dave Britton Concert at 7:0 p.m.- SS Peter & Paul Lutheran in Hancock. There is no charge but a free-will offering will be taken to help raise funds for our Mission Team who are going to conduct an Eyeglass Clinic in Nicaragua in June. Come on over and enjoy some good Gospel and Praise singing. Dave Britton is from the Saginaw area of Michigan.

Good morning from Mishawaka IN. 62° here in northern Indiana this morning. It's suppose to get up to 75 today. I can not imagine standing in Lake Superior or Lake Michigan or any lake in this part of the country in my bare feet at this time of year. Brrrrrrr!

Love Taka's picture of the happy young tech women. Hope more pictures of Tech students will be posted.

I was up there 3 or so years ago because my mother had taken a bad turn. She rallied, and I went to the Ambassador to have a celebratory pizza and beer before leaving for home. There were two parties of Tech students celebrating 21st birthdays. Not a seat in the place. I had to sit at the bar crammed against the cash register.

Didn't mind a bit. It was great to hear the young people laughing and celebrating. When I left, I gave the honoree of the table closest to me the last 1/2 of my pizza. He looked at me with the innocent eyes of sweet youth and said,"But I don't know you!" Whatever I answered was drowned out by a rousing cheer from all his friends. Think I chuckled about that all the way home.

There is nothing like new life or young life to help when one is facing hard times with an older loved one!
