Downstate Don....I remember Sonny Elliott as well...used to combine words for weather conditions...some pretty clever but nothing spings to mind...maybe "sold" for sunny and cold? Used to make reference to inky dinky Engadine. :)

The town of Herman was named for Herman Karinen .
