Good morning from Washington State. Does anyone know if the Finpro Bakery in Hancock is still in business? Where can one order Finnish breads etc. on line?

Good morning from Mishawaka IN. Looks like someone read my post yesterday. It looks like we might get some rain today. We need it. I'm glad its not spring slush like the blast from the past. Have a good day everyone.

Pat, Vancouver,WA- Don't think FINPRO Bakery is still going, not listed in the phone directory, but you might want to try the Spice of Life Specialty Foods (Hancock) They make homemade Finnish breads. (906-483-2294) Are you just wondering or coming to visit? Maybe they mail items out.

Nope, I just got in from three-day retreat: no phone, no tv, no e-mail. Whew, glad that's over.

I'm still up and I have alot to do before turning in! Since I'm 64 this year I really appreciate the pics today. I love seeing the way things were that year. Can anyone tell me how to get to the Hungarian Falls? Thanks-by the way the Suomi Home Bakery in Houghton has great Finnish Bread-I always come home with at least 3 loaves.

HUNGARIAN FALLS - Hungarian Creek. In Tamarack City, turn north off of M-26 on 6th St (the sign says Calumet Golf Course) & go 2 blocks to a fork. Take the left fork & drive uphill to the 2nd trail road on the left. Turn left & go .2 mi. to a fork. The right fork goes to the upper falls, the left fork to the lower falls
