You don't dare go out on the ice out here. People have been going through. Yesterday a man took his 3 year old son out on a 4 wheeler and they went through the ice. Not smart! Luckily there were a couple of girls ice skating on the edge of the ice and they saw it. The man and his son were both saved.

Good Morning, from mid-Michigan, where we have enough snow to cover the grass & make the subdivision streets icy. Today is my husband and my 39th wedding anniversary. I wonder if I should start doing like Jack Benny, I think it was, and start counting backwards for subsequent ones, perhaps? Finally getting our breaded pork tenderloin fix, thanks to my son and his girlfriend. Polancic's in Ottawa, IL. have the best we ever had. Can't get them UP here. We deep-fat fry them in peanut oil put them on a bun with ketchup, mustard, onion, lettuce, tomato and pickles.

Batten down the hatches, the snow is coming.

Sounds great Hollidays! Here in Indiana, the pork tenderloin sandwich is the state sandwich. They are so delicious. I like pickle, onion mustard and mayo on mine. Making Mrs. Geno's chicken enchiladas for supper tonight. I'm trying to fix all of my son's favorites before he leaves for England next week.

Cindy Barga (Hoosiergirl) I still have Mrs. Geno's chicken enchilada recipe. Make it all of the time. Geno is the best yooper I have ever met.
