Two survived the 8am upload

Good Morning, everyone! I'm thankful that my Tech student made it home safely from Houghton last night. They drove in near white-out conditions from the Big Mac to Grayling. The driver drove 45 mph on I-75, but that might have been too fast for conditions. I'm just a very thankful Mom that all four students made it back to mid-Michigan safely! :-)

Happy for you, Marianne! I'm glad your son made it home. It's so scary when your children are out in those conditions.

Good mid-morning from snowless (thankfully) southern Ohio.
Marianne, I hear you about worrying about your kids out in the bad weather. L-o-n-g time ago (1951) we had a terrible freezing rain moving across Nashville, yet one of my sisters insisted on keeping her date with her steady boyfriend in spite of the weather....and my mom's protest. Thankfully they made it alright but that never happened again!

The stitched light house in 2000 was done by my
sister Eva.

Just now watched the 'review'....great scenes as usual. The 'little baker' has the most intriguing and captivating eyes. She sure is a sweetie!:) And yes, always love to see Joyce's doggie! (can't remember the name right now...begins with a "T", right?)

Very nice Hollidays. I've been wondering about Yooper Joe too. I'm up early this morning to bake cookies and make caramels with my favorite assistant, my son who is home from college.
