Good Morning. I hope you had a good Halloween. We started a new tradition, that of giving small dog treats to dogs in costume who were out with their kids. We had five dogs come by last night.

I like pasties, assuming they aren't dry, just plain, with nothing added to them. I love homemade beef gravy, and if I had some fresh, that would be fine on pasties, but I'm not a fan of bottled gravy or gravy made from a mix. If the pasty is dry, then some Heinz ketchup is just fine on it. :-)

Sorry to be perhaps the lone dissenter this morning, but I love good brown gravy on a pasty!! I also like ketchup once in a while although I prefer HP Sauce.

Anyone enjoy a pasty with chow-chow?

Bill likes his with a sweet brown mustard or just mustard. He puts the mustard on the side of the plate and dips the pasty in it.

Sure miss that Toivo sauce! Usually, I just top my pasty with a pat of butter!

A big (brown) gravy fan here! NO ketchup on anything.....makes everything you put it on taste like ketchup.

I dont know; having "chow-chow" with a pasty might result in one less pasty and a very happy dog.....

Chow-Chow along with a pasty is great!

Chow-chow is great with ham and scalloped potatoes.

Chow-chow with a big bowl of white beans (cooked with hog jowl) and cornbread is 'where it's at'!;9

excuse error please.....that should be 'white beans cooked with ham-hock' instead of hog jowl. Jowl is much too salty!

It was cats that did the *chow-chow* to Purina's Cat Chow.
