We’ve had some unseasonably warm temperatures the last few days, but there’s still snow on the ground for the snow enthusiasts like Judy Byykkonen’s four-legged friends, Mandy and Minerva. Mandy is the big curly-haired pooch, a Labradoodle, with tons of energy and Minerva is the newest addition to Judy’s household. She’s a Scottish Terrier and even though there is a huge difference in size, she seems to keep right up with Mandy when enjoying the outdoors. Judy did say that Minerva does get quite a work out though, with those short little legs. We should all take the time to enjoy the winter season like little children and puppies do. Not only will it de-stress your busy life, but it will put a smile on your face, I’m sure. Give it a try!

Our dog Lulu just loves the snow. One year it was deep enough is all we saw was her tail sticking out. Hope all had a nice Thanksgiving and lived thru "Black Friday".

This is my very first Scottie and you are right,Janie. Cannot convince her that she is not a big dog!!! I just love her spunk--yet,she is also so affectionate! She and Mandy-doodle have become great pals!My third dog is a bit old for the deep snow.

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Saturday, November 26, 2011 - 02:26 pm:

Jaby, since 1988, we have had Scottish Terriers in our family. Always having 2 at a time, really brings that Scottish personality out..try it if you can! :)

I knew those were Judy's dogs. Last time we were UP, Mandy greeted us at the door. What a sweet dog. Thanks for sharing with us, Judy!
