Good Morning to all. 36 and overcast here in Houghton.

Very different assortment of pictures today. I love the railroad picture. It brings me back to my younger days when I used to walk up in the woods from our house and walk across the trestles. So scary, but what a rush!!!

More fine pics, and I have 2 add the 2008 pic, frosty morning, is exactly that at my house, as it was only 30 degrees along with a frosty back yard when I let our dogs outside.

"Shirlohio", Shirley the "Yooper Tourist Trap", is a very intresting place. It has all kind's of stuff from and about the U.P.. The wife say's were not stopping there again, but when we do she has to be dragged out of the store.If you get a chance to stop there you will enjoy it.

Oh, I see. Thanks Dean, for clearing that up for me....hope I didn't offend anyone, I just figured it was a gimmick.:) Too bad I don't travel anymore, huh? :(

Nice weather for October 23rd. Temps were in the high 50s and the "Big Lake" was mellow today.

Stand By Me was a great movie.

Wow what a great day. My grand nephew Tyler, was baptised. Day was just beautiful. My grand son Charlie, might warm up to me. Fed him a bunch of candy. He is very cautious on making friends. Like an awesome day.
