Which years' pictures did Z-Man provide back-to-back on this day?

By Thomas Baird (Thomas) on Saturday, September 3, 2011 - 08:01 am:

2003 + 2004. Nice diversity of photos.

2003-2004, "Good Morning", I hope that the elk was tame.

Good morning!! Love the blueberry pictures. I was looking through my pictures from UP there in either 2007 or 2008 last night, and saw some just like that. Makes me want some, and there's no better way to eat them than right off the bush before you clean them. This year Kosk and her dad brought some to us when we were there. They were delicious!!

Hope everybody has fun. Would love to go to Ontonagon's Labor Day celebration this weekend. Was only to that a couple of times, but always had a good time.

Have a safe Labor Day weekend, everybody! I'm just so happy to have 3 days off in a row.

I share your happiness about this 3 day weekend Deb!!

3 days off?? I've been working so much after I got back that my office told me not to even show up yesterday; hence, I got a 4 day weekend as did Nat J

Oh, my, the 2004 picture brings back memories of being a part of the Ontonagon Mountaineers Drum and Bugle Corps. That was great fun! Can you imagine this group of Yooper kids marching in a parade down Woodward Avenue in Detroit or in a parade down Michigan Avenue right up to the Captitol building in Lansing? Look whose in the big town now! Our usual venue, though, was small towns like Butternut WI where they roll the sidewalks up at 5:00. Seems like a million years ago....sigh.

By Janie T. (Bobbysgirl) on Saturday, September 3, 2011 - 09:54 am:

Hey a 4 day weekend is better yet! At my new age now, I think the work week should be 2 days, and the weekends be 5 days. And with more pay. :)

By C Pihlaja Russell (Gone2long) on Saturday, September 3, 2011 - 09:56 am:

Janie, I couldn't agree more, and let's have those work days be from 11:00 to 2:00 with an hour for lunch.

Oops, I see my typos now that I have my glasses on. Maybe you won't have your glasses on either and won't even see them. That's what good friends do; they see our faults and love us anyway, right?

Hello all, I'm not sure if I posted in the right section. I happened upon this message board when Googling OALC. Do you discuss all kinds of topics here? I do have some questions about the OALC.

By Capt. Paul (Eclogite) on Saturday, September 3, 2011 - 06:36 pm:

Hi Sunny,

Welcome to PastyCentral!! We discuss all things related to Upper Michigan; however, I would suggest to get answers relating to the OALC to post a message to the Politics and Religion, Ketchup or Gravy section.

By Jim (Jhattica) on Sunday, September 4, 2011 - 08:00 am:

good morning
