"2006"-"Good Morning"

We were in the C.C. for a 4th of July a few year's ago. We went to Mohawk for their children's parade, it was a sight to see, we enjoyed it a lot. That type of parade is very enjoyable. The parade's like the Thanksgiving Day parade's are like not very good, there are people being paid to be there. Bring back the old type of parade where the community is more involved.

I almost forgot-HOW ABOUT THEM "LIONS". I hope that continue to play the way did last night.

Last week I promised more pictures of the Antique Fashion Show at Fort Wilkins, for which Edie wore an early 1800's dress. My still photos didn't turn out, but I captured a few scenes from a small video camera we had. Edie is on the left in the first two, and a better view of the dress in the third shot:

Especially like the photo of fishing in the fog. Fog always softens things. Had a smidgen of it early this morning here. Would like to learn how to paint it. Maybe in the workshop I'm taking in September up near Lac du Flambeau. Have a pleasant weekend everyone. These cooler temps sure make me anxious for the short fall weather we'll be having soon.

Charlie: Thanks for posting these pics of the beautiful ladies and dresses from the Antique Fashion Show at Fort Wilkins. Edie and her dress and bonnet are very authentic and fancy! I see two other ladies I know in that show, also. :-)
