It is great being back here.

Good Morning. We can see a glimpse of the water in Marquette Bay in 1998. :-)

We are heading up to Copper Country today, for a few days, so we can drop off my youngest son at Tech for his sophomore year. It's with mixed emotions for me, as we won't get to see him again until Thanksgiving week, but I love Copper Country, and the weather looks great for enjoying it!

Making lasgna tonight with the best cheese ever; Jilbert's. Temps were great today and it sure feels like fall. The maples are slowly turning already. Get that firewood ready.

Miners beach is beautiful. Wish I was there now.

Love the country store picture. I missed getting to Copper Harbor this time. I usually don't miss it, but there were more important things to tend to this time.

I agree with you about the beach Mikie. I'd love to be there too.

I have to say, I never saw one maple tree turning colors while I was there, and I just left today, Sunday the 14th. Glad they aren't turning just yet. They can save it for when I come in October.
