I still wanna come back in another life as one of Joyce's pets.

You know what really amazes me living UP here? How you can buy firewood, honey, fishing worms and later on, sweetcorn on the honor system. Take what you want and put the money in the box. That is what I call a wonderful place. Nice out today, the humidity is gone and the wind has shifted. I can finally hear the big lake after a long week of being in the "doldrums".
Get to sleep with the windows open tonight, hope you all can too.

We down here in the Motown area surely won't be able to open windows. Checked the temp at 4AM this morning and it was 82. Steamy humidity. Right now, 5 PM, it's 99. Predicted to be hot again tomorrow. BUT tomorrow I'm headed for the Copper Country!

Indeen it is rather toasty in Motown tonight. When we arrived it was 102 according to the car and a bank thermometer we saw along Telegraph.
