Good morning!! Still very hot here!! At least there's a wind out there today. That should help keep things a little cooler!!

Nice slide show today!! I love the first picture!! And of course, the tumblebeet (what my 2 year old granddaughter calls bumblebees) having lunch was cool, too, as well as Fishing by Moonlight!! Well, they were really all good.

As always awsome pictures. Once again I want to thank all the Pasty-Camers for the prayer's ,it's been one year today since my cancer sugery at times it is still a little hard to catgh my brearh. But I'am on the mend. Once again THANK YOU ALL.

It was too hot to handle today. We had temps, in Ontonagon in the mid 90s. Storms came through this morning and saved a lot of flora and probably fauna. Looks like tomorrow the humidity will be gone, that's a plus. By next week, back to normal, high 70s during the day and low 50s at night. Can't wait to open the windows and smell the sweetness of the UP. No smoke today from the Ontario fire. Hope it is out for good. Stay cool Yoops.

Seriously though that is quite toasty. We drove through a lot of heat today, but not as bad as they were forecasting; never made it above 100 according to the car. Staying in a neat little farm town in NE Illinois tonight. We thought about going to their county fair tonight, but after a 16 hr drive, the bed is winning out!!

To touch a little on the current heatwave, how many Pasty fans out there remember when it reached 112 degrees in Mio in July 1936.
