Good morning!! The sun's out here. We've been forgetting what that looks like, it's out so little.

Loved the Canyon Falls pic. I could never be daring enough to do that, though. Wouldn't want to tip. Hate being under water!!

Loved the Freda pic too. Have spent a lot of time out there in my life. Wish it was nice sandy beach, but don't know if they'll ever see that again.

I would have had that elusive little birdie this morning, but I couldn't post a message because our computers went ka-fluey!!! What frustration when you can see the great photos at 6:55 but couldn't post an answer; almost like seeing that trophy buck but forgetting to load the gun..... ;-)

Well Capt., it is only from the extreme of comfort and leisure with our morning cup of coffee, that we return willingly to adversity, the attempt to bag a bird with all the pitfalls that come with said effort.

Went to Baraga today, the Pines gas station was selling gas for $3.35, more like it but should be lower. They had a small veggie stand there; "Clarke's Veggies", got Arkansas tomatoes and Florida corn. Having BLTs tonight. Can't wait till the garden is ready, sometime in October.
