Top o' the mornin'...Warming up but plain ol' hot later this week. There are many places I could visit today but the reception for our PAL exhibit in Clinton Iowa is top of the list. I can only handle so much excitment :)

Well, so much for our best laid plans for the day. We were taking our daughter-in-law and 3 of our grandchildren out on the boat to fish today. Hmmm, looks like rain all day again. Lovely!!!! Maybe it'll clear up this afternoon. Would be nice.

It's a beautiful day here in the Ishpeming area too. A perfect
Sunday-- a big breakfast, church, a walk in the woods, steak on
the barbie, swimming for some of the crew, fishing for others, and
maybe even the first sauna of the season. Ahh...

The weather UP here in Ontonagon was perfect today. Thought about Janie all day; the Harley riders were all enjoying the day on the Lake Superior Tour, there's nothing like the wind in your hair. Smoking a pork roast on the grill and having a few brews. Life UP here is good.

Alex, my twin brothers on their *Wings* and Bob and I on our Low Rider ventured to Ms. Katie's neck o the woods, Savannah, IL. went to *Poopies* had lunch and then rode back. A great ride, about 225 miles. Does A Body and Mind Good!!

Hollidays, the Lake Superior Circle Tour was a big part of the conversation today between us and my brothers, as next month Bob, and my brothers are riding that tour on their Wings, the Low Rider, and my brother from Chicago on his Vulcan.

JT...225 miles is pretty impressive. That would be a haul, even for me and I have not had recent back surgery. Way to go!

OMG Janie if you're ever in this area again I'd love to meet you. Wouldn't have too long. Just a friendly 'hello'. If you're in Savanna "Poopys" is the place to go. Good food and my grand daughter could have pierced you :) Also have the "Iron Horse" downtown. If you can find a parking place! What a perfect day for that ride. I sigh as each group of bikers I meet on the road pass by. Met one idiot today in Fulton. Would have given him the bird if he hadn't passed me on the right. Gives bikers a bad name.

Yesterday was Andrea the Irish dancer's graduation party at our house. Worked all week getting the house and the yard ready. Her new name is Andrea the college student. Feel kind of bad that she has grown up and leaving us. She is going so far away from us. Wayne State in Detroit, about six miles. Still it will be like on the other side of the ocean. Then today my pal Harry and family came over and helped us consume some of the food left over. They stayed to help pick up everything and take the tents down. Precious out did herself in the cooking dept. and I made some of the food. Dani and Kenny sure have a nice family. My daughter from Manistee was here also with her family. The boys and Meghan spent one night in the RV and then in the house with the air on. Just had to get on here and brag.
